Meet Our Team
With over 25 years of executive search experience, Frank is old enough to remember running his punch cards on the IBM 4341 at 3am, yet young enough to stay curious about the latest technology advances and skunk work projects of our clients.
His favorite role is working with boards and CEOs to build leadership teams that win. Though a hole-in-one is pretty great, too.
A proud member of the Oregon Angel Fund (OAF), he serves on OAF's Advisory Board, Investment Committee, and loves helping entrepreneurial CEOs build successful companies.
Frank is married with two college-aged daughters (which explains the gray hair). He loves the outdoors and is a bit geeky for molecular gastronomy, wine and micro beers.
With the firm for almost 20 years, Tom has completed dozens of VP and C-level searches for our clients, a testament to his steady persistence and determination.
Tom is an active participant in CompTIA (formerly TechAmerica), Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN), and Idaho Kickstand/Kickstart on various committees, events, and recruitment initiatives. His tall frame has been recruited to fill in on client basketball teams and guide fly fishing floats from his drift boat.
Despite his track record with basic home improvement projects, and his wife’s resulting skepticism, Tom did earn a B.S. Engineering degree from THE Michigan State University. When he’s not pounding the phones, he can be found coaching his son’s various teams or encouraging his daughter’s artistic abilities.
Successfully running an executive search office requires keeping ten balls in the air at once. Emily has been with Brentwood for over 15 years, each year honing her juggling skills. Her interests in technology, renewable energies, new media, research, and organizational strategies help keep the firm sharp and competitive.
When not herding cats at the office, Emily’s engaged at home with her energetic young son. She loves the beauty and creative environment of the Pacific Northwest, where she’s made her home since 1998. Emily earned her B.S. in Sociology from Portland State University and enjoys music, film, learning about technology, and living an active life.
Research and Administrative Assistant
Marie has an ingrained devotion to organization and multitasking. She has culled her research skills over years in firms following her B.A. in Sociology from Oregon State. A technophile and consumer of memes, she savors living in the Pacific Northwest while keeping her cats off the keyboard, finding another house project to tackle with her husband, and answering eleventy-bajillion questions each day from her elementary school aged boys.
