With 25 years executive search experience, Frank is old enough to remember programming punch cards for the IBM 4341 at 3am, yet young enough to have a great curiosity about the latest technology advances and skunk work projects of our clients.
Frank has been a board member, guest lecturer, author, and panelist on a broad range of executive leadership and succession planning topics. His greatest thrill, however, is working with the Board and CEOs in building leadership teams that win (ok – a hole in one is quite a thrill too).
Frank is married, has two teenage daughters (which explains the grey hair), loves the outdoors, and is a bit geeky when it comes to molecular gastronomy, wine and micro beers.
Tom’s many VP and C-level searches completed for Brentwood-retained clients are a testament to his 15 years of steady persistence and determination.
In addition to the high tech committees Tom serves on in the Portland and Idaho business communities, his tall frame has been recruited to fill in on client basketball teams and guide fly fishing floats from his drift boat.
Although his inability to tackle the most basic home improvement projects makes his wife highly skeptical, Tom did earn a B.S. Engineering degree from THE Michigan State University. When he’s not pounding the phones, he can be seen coaching his son’s various teams or encouraging his daughter’s artistic abilities.
For 17 years, Jim has been a fixture within the Pacific Northwest technology industry helping CEOs and Boards build great companies. Jim has the pleasure of working with companies ranging from VC-backed startups to large $billion+ publicly traded high tech and clean tech companies. He has a long history of high technology leadership and community support, serving with organizations such as the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network (OEN) and the American Electronics Association (AeA). With a passion for governance, Jim co-created TechAmerica’s Board of Directors Educational Series.
Jim is married with a young daughter and, like most headhunters, is highly competitive. As such, he enjoys competing in AKC events and winning ribbons with his chocolate lab. It’s not only heads he hunts as he can often be found in marshes or woods across the Pacific Northwest.
